About the A.C.E. Model

The ACE Integrated Fitness Training Model (IFTM) is a designed fitness program based on your fitness goals. Through ongoing engagement and structured training phases, you are led through safe and effective progress in your training. This model allows for programming based on your current physical abilities and fitness level while providing a framework that allows for progression in programming. Incorporating the art of relationship building with the science of exercise, ACE IFTM serves as a blueprint for designing successful programs that meet your fitness needs.

Integrating frequent assessments and specialized programming, Marcus facilitates achievable changes addressing posture, movement, flexibility, balance, core function, cardio-respiratory fitness, muscular endurance, and strength.

The ACE IFT Model has two principle training components: Functional Movement/Resistance Training, and Cardio-Respiratory Training. Each component is divided into four phases. Where you begin depends on your current fitness level and long term goals.

Functional Movement and Resistance Training

Phase 1: Stability & Mobility
Phase 2: Movement and Resistance Training
Phase 3: Load Training
Phase 4: Performance Training

Cardio-respiratory Training

Phase 1: Aerobic Base Training
Phase 2: Aerobic Efficiency Training
Phase 3: Anaerobic Endurance Training
Phase 4: Anaerobic Power Training

Once Marcus has conducted an initial physical assessment,
he can determine the best course of action for your exercise journey.
